Left On Houston

It’s no secret I heart sweaters. Cozy winter wool sweaters, lightweight summer sweaters, layering sweaters over sweaters… I wear sweaters all year round. Being Canadian, I think it was ingrained in my soul as a child and it’s an obsession that has only grown with time. Maybe it was the constant fear of the weather changing and being cold, which is the worst by the way, so I always over prepare and a lot of the time, end up being extra hot. Which is just fine by me.

One of my fav sweater companies is Left on Houston, out of Vancouver, BC. I know what you’re thinking. It’s because they’re a Canadian company that I have a strong allegiance to them. Well, yes of course, but that’s only the half of it. They’re sweaters and knits are classic with a twist. They’re always well made and usually oversized. Each season they seem to hit the nail on the head with trends that are dead on but not over the top and totally wearable. This year I’m especially excited about the printed oversized cardigan pictured below. LOH’s take on the animal print feels very fresh and fun.

It will be by no coincidence or surprise that you’ll probably find me in LOH sweaters almost everyday this winter. Check out some of my favorite pieces from the winter collection below. Follow them on IG for styling ideas (they feature awesome bloggers) and hit up their e-com site (currently having a sale) to nab a few pieces and beat winter’s chill to the punch!
